Course Overview:
The NDL Advanced Universal Diver qualification allows to:
•Effectively navigate underwater while diving.
•Increase the safety and comfort during night diving.
•Increase the diver safety and comfort while practicing the deep dives.
•The maximum recommended dive depth is 40 m.
•Increase one’s diver qualification in the NDL Diveleader and NDL Divemaster courses (subject to having passed the NDL Rescue Diver, NDL Professional Buoyancy Diver And NDL Medic First Aid courses).
Minimum participation age: 15 years old (from 12 to 14 years old student can get an NDL Junior Universal Diver certificate).
Maximum depth: 40 meters (for practical training in night diving and underwater navigation – 18 meters).
Number of classroom sessions: 3 (0 if you have already completed the NDL Universal Diver course).
Number of practical units in confined water: No.
Number of practical units in open water: 9 (4 if you have already completed the NDL Universal Diver course).
Requirements to the level of program participants: NDL Diver (for more effective mastering of the course skills, it is recommended to pre-take the NDL Professional Buoyancy Diver course).
Requirements to the level of an NDL instructor: NDL Instructor Rank 2 and above in active status.
